Hi,

The Portland Festival Association would like to invite people in the Seattle

community to begin talks on co-creating the 2002 festival together, as a

Northwest Association, rather than just a Portland association. Interested?

Hey Atitila! There you are. Where have you been? [grin]

I'm thinking there should be a preliminary meeting to gather

interest and questions (lots of questions I presume). Then have

another meeting with Habib or another Portland Festival

representative present, to answer questions and co-create the

process. This could be very exciting for the growth of our raw

food movement! Are you interested in hosting a meeting, Atilla?

If not, I would be willing to open my home to this process.

yes,here i am, happy and busy ,

what exactly does " co-creating the process " mean,

don't you just open the gate and let people in,

don't you just call around and invite people who

might have something valuable to share,

yes, true, learning from the second party, we should

find some more exiting people with something new

stuff,(there are not too many:(, or are there?

my house is so cluttered, not a good idea yet,

need to bild some bookshelves and some feng shui

would be helpful, too, and of course more time to

execute the plan, in the meantime, lets meet

at your house for example, and talk, right?

i like it there, potluck or not, your house is

great, so you set the day and time and avanti

populi, we may watch a movie together, ok?

be all raw you can be, and happiness above all...

Habib is awesome. The Festival is a ton of worthwhile

work-- and as the vital message about LIVING and RAW

foods/lifestyle spreads, so do the multifarious

responsibilities ertaning to it.

Our raw commmunity in Seattle is strong, with many

talented , enthusiastic *members*. I personally think

this is a great opportunity for interested parties to

take an active role in the festival.

There is so much to gain through giving!!!

Thanks for opening your home for meetings on this

topic, Linda. While my time is limited, please count

me in for organizing and creating a prolific

Northwest Association.

warmly-

Karen

Alright Linda! Go to http://www.rawseattle.org/Events/Add%20an%

20Event.htm to set up the time to have the meeting where we can

discuss Habib's invitation. Maybe you want to do it at your next

potluck? Let the WebMaster know. :-) We have five

people so far who are interested in participating in the discussions.

Another reminder folks: Habib's e-mail address was in the first

message on this subject posted to this list:

Better yet!

Go to Database on this Groups page and sign in with your

interest preference, day and time preferences. I'd prefer to wait

until the list has about 10+ interested people before we embark on

such a task. I think 10 is a bare minimum!! Then I will collect the

data and book a meeting. This could also work nicely in " Polls "

actually. hmmmm Any feedback?

Peace, Linda
