Hi Joel,

Hope you can use this in your cleanse diet. It is a salsa recipe that my

friends mom made when he was a kid in Mexico. You can control the heat by

not putting the pepper seeds in the mix. Try thinning it for a salad

dressing or processing it further down to a liquid state.

8-10 plum tomatoes (Romas)

1 scallion - green only

2 jalapeno peppers, 1 with seeds left in

cilantro to taste

I peel the tomatoes, but you dont have to. Put tomatoes, scallion and

peppers in a blender, pulse till mixed. Cut in the cilantro and mix with a

spoon so as not to pulverize the cilantro. You can add some water if your

tomatoes wont break down enough.

I'm seeking any recipes any of you might have for salad dressings,

SOUPS, or other raw dishes which can be used on the Clean Me Out

cleanse program.

I'm having a tough time figuring out what to use as salad dressing

(squeezed lemon works, but leaves something to be desired). Salt and

nuts are both no-nos, which is why I'm having some trouble producing

anything delectable.

Any thoughts on salad dressings, or other raw dishes would be greatly

appreciated!!! Also note, dehydrated/frozen stuff is pretty much a

no-no here as well.

joel,

i like to keep things simple. with salad dressings, i mix several ingredients together, but i keep preparation quick and easy. i enjoy eating more than preparing food.

my favorite dressing:

1-2 handfuls kale, 1-2 handfuls cilantro or parsley, 1-2 avocados, 1 apple, 1 cup water, small amount of dried seaweed. often i will throw in a tomato, red pepper, or zucchini as well. blend it. pour over salad.

if your lazy like me, add greens to the dressing, and blend just enough to chop up the greens, but not "blend" them. saves the effort of having to chop your greens by hand. add some lemon or lime juice if you want more zing. add kelp powder, sea salt, or miso if you need more sodium. sometimes i will add sprouted seeds on top if i need more calories. i don't store this dressing more than one day. i try to eat fruit mono-meals all day. then this i eat at night. quick and easy. a huge dose of greens. very cleansing. may be too cleansing for some.

Have you tried using pumpkin seeds they are very good for cleansing

out parasites. They can be blended after being soaked along with

various fresh juices you can also add ginger. I don't know if you do

garlic or not but it sure taste good with pumpkin seeds and apple

juice. Hope that helps :-)

Also try experimenting with fresh herbs like cilantro, basil etc.
