Guest guest
Thanks Karen for feeding us this past weekend and of course to all of the helping hands involved as well! My family and I enjoyed the food immensely and it will truly be wonderful to be able to go out as a family in the future as well as, introduce guests to the gourmet palate of raw foods you so eloquently present and create. More events of such stature is well appreciated from me and mine. I wish we could do more as a community to attract a larger crowd - perhaps marketing to the Earth Save crowd? Any other suggestions out there? Namaste Karen! Regards, joyceGet more from the Web. Guest guest
When the time is right for Karen, she would probably be welcome as a speaker at an EarthSave event. Perhaps she could even do a food demo. The event would help introduce her restaurant and services to ES members. Guest guest
Go Karen! The food was superb. I had no intention of eating that whole huge plate of food---but I DID! (almost!) The flavors and textures were complimentary. Great Job! As for Joyce asking for suggestions: Isn't there a group in California that has a weekly " restaurant night " where I believe Juliano provides the cheffing and I don't know how they do the food. I thought they potlucked it, in the beginning--- offering it to the public. The public had to make reservations in advance. Couldn't we come up with our own version? We'd need a venue, a location large enough (for how many people?). Just a thought. I think if we had a regularly scheduled weekly event that everybody could count on, it would build.... Perhaps willing members of our community could rotate responsibilities--volunteer. Whoever the sponsor for that week was, could feature their own specialty. We'd have theme dinners. Any more ideas out there? Peace, Linda >>More events of such stature is well appreciated from me and mine. Guest guest
In Santa Monica, they used to have have dinners 7 nights a week, including 2 nights prepared by Juliano, and 2 by Matt Amscen. Now they appear to have 2 by Matt and 2 by Chef Danielle and 1 potluck night. I suspect Juliano is working on his new restaurant.
