Guest guest
I've noticed a ground cover being used more by commercial landscapers that yields a tasty orange berry. What a concept, eh, planting food instead of useless decorative plants! I like it. Anyway, it looks a little like a raspberry, but is sweeter and subtler and is bright orange, the color of a ripe apricot. Does anybody know what they are? Guest guest
I would call it a salmon berry, but not having seen them I'm not sure. I never thought of that as ground cover, but I suppose you could use it for that. What about evergreen blackberries for cover? That would work good. We like them better than the big huge blackberries most folks pick. Shari
Guest guest
Hi Shari, They're definitely not salmonberries, although unripe salmonberries have the same color. I couldn't eat two salmonberries in a row, never mind a belly full, which I did this morning. :-) Nora Shari V wrote: I would call it a salmon berry, but not having seen them I'm not sure.
