Guest guest
Hi Gang, I don't know if you knew but my dad is getting a gas powered catamaran. He's naming it Canistel which is a fruit he's only had twice. He was nice enough to give me one of the three that he smuggled into Cali from Florida. Anyways, I just thought it was a cool name and wonderful idea for a raw foodist's boat name. Here are some pictures of the fruit: http://images.google.com/images? q=canistel & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8 & hl=en. It's absolutely delicious, the flavor reminds me of those marshmallow chickens you can get for easter. They're absolutely wonderful and unique in flavor. It's like a dry persimmon, dates, and figs all at once. They're just plain cool, wonderful, and yes a little weird. -Christian

Guest guest
Just type in "canistel" in the search box. Then you'll get pictures. It's a pretty cool site. You can find pretty much anything you want to find and it's a picture! Shari
Guest guest
Your dad's cool, Christian. You are the only lucky one who has a raw dad. Tell us what are you guys harvesting in your dad's backyard? figs are in season, aren't they?
