Guest guest
What a great turnout of raw foodists at the Earthsave potluck. There was a fair amount of interest at our RawSeattle booth, also. Nora did a fantastic job on the brochure and Jeff produced some great business cards! The food was excellent....and I gained FIVE pounds! (In one day--sheesh!) Guest guest
Yes, we had a great raw turnout! We definitely had a visible presence there, not only because of our numbers (probably 15 at least), but because of the info table and the fact that the speaker announced to the crowd that there was a separate table for raw foods (for which we are very grateful!). I was a little disappointed at the layout of the information tables, as people didn't have to pass by them on their way to the dining area. It was our first real effort at community outreach (as far as I know), so it was a good learning experience. Anyone wanting a copy of the brochure, please send me your postal address and I'll pop one in the mail for you. Please feel free to copy and post it wherever it might find a receptive eye. ;-) Nora Linda Reeves wrote: > What a great turnout of raw foodists at the Earthsave potluck. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who helped out, as well as, who joined us at the potluck and showed how great raw foods can be! If anyone wants business cards to hand out to friends or even strangers, I have quite a few. I won't be at the remaining November events, but will bring them to the next one I attend. People wishing to help me offset the costs, the cards cost me $0.04 each. Jeff
