Guest guest
Speaking of cases of organic produce....This message is especially for Niz. :-) This is the kind of message you said you'd want to see on this list. Plus, I know Laurie especially likes fruit of the Annonaceae family (cherimoyas, atemoyas, sugar apples, custard apples, etc.). I got a bunch of organic cherimoyas Saturday night after Traci's potluck. They're REALLY good. I think the organic factor is key. I've gotten unorganic cherimoyas from Whole Foods, but they've always sucked. :-) I was going to buy a case (or two, or three, depending on level of interest) of these organic ones from Central Market. Anyone want to agree to buy a portion of the case(s) from me so we can split the cost? Niz? :-)
Guest guest
I've been trying to get Cherimoyas from Central for the past few weeks. I finally gave up when the best deal they could offer me was $50 for a case of 12. In the meantime, PCC dropped their organic cherimoyas from $6.98 to $3.98 per pound, so I've been buying lots there. How much are the ones you're getting from Central? I would be very interested in splitting a bulk order as long as the price justifies the extra traveling and time. Thanks Eric!
