Hi Everybody,

Wild edible food has for years been of high interest to me, and a couple of weeks ago when Nora and others spoke about getting someone for a guided foraging walk I contacted John Kallas in Portland. He's been busy so he just now responded and says he could do a 3 hour lecture which would cost participants around $30.00 to keep our numbers below 20 in the class. So I need to find out how much additional the guided walk or hike would be. I am thinking a way it might work would be to do a Friday night class followed by a Saturday foraging walk that would be a continuation of the class. I have a space in my home that would work for the class, and would be willing to organize it and provide a place for John Kallas to stay and his meals. I would have time to begin working on this around the 21st of February but not until then because of my recording project. I am wondering what the interest level would be out there for this, and I have a question into John K. about when is a good growing time in the spring for this. Please remember that the guided walk or hike would be an additional class fee.

When he gets back to me I'll be able to quote the hike day fee, he's kind of

slow...Cause he's quite busy.
