Good evening,

Can I ask that when people post a message that they include their name and (optionally) location, like I've done below. I find it helps me keep track of who's who and where, so that when I meet them at events I can connect with them better.

Thank you.

Nick, very good suggestion! This list is different from most because

we do have opportunities to meet each other in person. That's what

makes the tone different, and motivates people to be as considerate to

each other as they would be in person. I think it's extremely important

that we not post anonymously, and make people try and figure out who we

are from our sometimes cryptic email addresses. I, for one, am going

to start nagging those who do this! Just a friendly warning ... :-)

Good point nick! It's much more personal to communicate with a

" Barbara " than a " 12hdm88! "

True! Of course we still welcome people from elsewhere in the world

who cannot join us at events (even people in Seattle who cannot join

us!)
