Guest guest
I just received a brand new temperature compensated hand-held refractometer that I purchased via e-bay from National Industrial Supply (model RHB-32ATC) for $45.50 plus shipping- a total of $53.00. If anyone out there was interested in getting their own, this seems to be a good way to buy one at almost half the price. There were several refractometers with different scales, but it's easy to just read through the list of offerings & spot the one we normally use for fruits & vegies (0-32 Brix). To test it out, I scanned those organic honey tangerines from PCC that have been so tasty of late, & the one I did came out at a firm 12. Gideon (W. Sea.)
