Guest guest
I get the organic monukka raisins in bulk at Whole Foods. They are relatively inexpensive (last time I paid $1.99/lb) and they contain small seeds, which adds a nice crunch. I asked someone who worked there if they were raw. He didn't know for sure, but said he thought they were. I didn't look into it any further. Anyone know for sure? -Tim Upper Rainier Beach, Seattle > > Anyone have a good source for " raw " organic raisins? > > Jeff > Web Hosting - establish your business online http://webhosting. Guest guest
Typically if the packaging doesn't state that the dried fruit is " SUN-DRIED " then it is most likely that the fruit has been high temperature de-hydrated. Sometimes when " dried " fruit is coming from very hot countries, which are not mechanized, they almost always naturally sun-dry their fruit ie. places like Greece, Turkey, the Middle East etc. joyce > " Timothy D. I'm thinking of two different types of dried cherries I wanted to buy. One had a lot of nutrients, such as Vitamin A, listed. The other batch of dried cherries did not have any nutrients whatsoever. I'm sure that's not a fail-safe though. Tanya
