Guest guest
4-28-03 Raw Food Culture Support Group Raw food support group meetings have been scheduled for Wednesday evenings at 2130 N. 52nd Street; Seattle, WA. This address is the home of Richard Fromhold and Tim Swanson. The meetings begin at 7 pm and end at 9 pm. Richard is hosting the meeting and will take initial responsibility for facilitating the group process. The first few meetings will be very informal and fairly unstructured. These first meetings will be used to get to know one another, share recipes and stories, ask questions and generally get connected with others on the same path. If the group grows and the need is there a 12-step structured and facilitated process will be offered. The model for this group comes out of the teachings of Victoria Boutenko as described in one of her recent books. Although this format has been practiced in the past here in Seattle, it will probably look differently now. The group will include many people `new' to the raw diet. Time has passed and the world has shifted somewhat since those days on Woodlawn and 47th Street. Everyone is welcome, new or experienced with raw food. We all have much to learn from one another. For more information please contact: Richard Fromhold 206-396-5151 richard or Linda Reeves 206-935-2666 heartsong

Guest guest
Hi everyone, The date for the first support meeting is April 30. Today Richard and I started the process of labelling the 46 books that Richard has loaned to our lending library. I would like to invite any one who would like to expand the library by loaning your books to see Richard or me at the support group meetings or at a potluck. The books are categorized in one of the following two ways, either for lending out or for in-house reference use only. With everyone's assistance, this could be the start of a wonderful resource library for those wanting to go raw or for those wanting to expand their knowledge of nutrition and the raw lifestyle. When the library is ready to go, we can post the database here to give you a look at the books available to you.
