Guest guest
Welcome, Jackie! That’s great that you and your mom are trying to transition to the raw diet. It’s a major shift in diet and thinking about food, but it’s well worth the time and effort to make the changes. Feel free to ask any questions here, we’ll try to answer them. Guest guest
Hi again, Jackie – How advanced are the cancers? I’d suggest investing in a good juicer (like a Green Star or Green Power), then start putting a whole lot of fresh, organic fruits & veggies through it & have her drink the juice. This concentrates the nutrients, which is what you want in a cancer situation. I’d also recommend skipping the meats, and avoiding the “return to normal habits” part, since those are likely what got her into trouble in the first place. Definitely no dairy, especially with that uterine cancer. There is a local cancer treatment center here that has had good results with this approach. Some folks have found that intense weeks at a raw retreat or fasting center can help with cancers, but, of course, there are no guarantees with that disease. Loren Lochman runs one, the Tanglewood Wellness Center, at www.tanglewoodwellnesscenter.com. They are in Maryland. Other retreat centers can be found on the weblinks on the www.rawseattle.org website. Hope this helps.
