Hi everyone,

Just a heads up about an interview you might be interested in hearing

tomorrow afternoon. Loren Lockman will be speaking with Kevin McDonald

of KKNW 1150 AM at 1:00 p.m. They'll be discussing fasting, raw food,

healing disease naturally, etc. It may be as long as a full hour.

Loren's doing this interview mainly to publicize an upcoming seminar

he is planning here in Seattle. It's scheduled for June 28 and 29

at Cascade People's Center. Another interview with the radio station

is planned for June 26, while Loren is here in Seattle. As you know,

the regular monthly potluck at Linda's will be moved to Friday night instead

of Saturday in May and June only. Loren will be giving a short talk

the night before the seminar.

If you missed Loren last time, don't let the opportunity pass by again!

He is a knowledgeable, engaging, inspiring teacher who walks the raw talk.

He's been 100% raw for 12 years. He healed himself of several so-called

"incurable" diseases and founded Tanglewood Wellness Center in Maryland

10 years ago. He has guided scores of people to wellness through

fasting and raw food. If you are just transitioning to raw food,

you will find the information that Loren has to share very enlightening,

rare, valuable and informative. Long term raw fooders can also learn

a great deal from Loren. He has made several videos and audio tapes

that have circulated around Raw Seattle, so he is quite well known in the

community.

Here's a comment from one long-time raw fooder who attended the last

Loren Lockman seminar (hope you don't mind my posting this, Joyce :-)):

"the best "raw" speaker and purveyor of raw truth thus far!!!

Loren's presentation style was professional and succinct with enough information/substance

to keep me focused and interested. His humor is clean, light and friendly.

Loren is very convincing and influential. The cost is fair and I

felt there was much substance in the lecture that made it worth the $85."

The event will be held over two days this time (a change from last year).

Here are some specifics, as they are tentatively planned:

Saturday, June 28, 10 am - 4 pm

Loren will speak on fasting

and raw food, with frequent breaks and raw fruit snacks (bring lunch)

Sunday, June 29, 10 am - 4 pm

Loren will demonstrate raw

food prep for 3 hours; short break for lunch (provided); remaining time

open forum Q & A

Cost: $150 for both days, paid 2 weeks in advance

$180 for both

days at the door

$85 per day,

paid 2 weeks in advance

$95 per day

at the door

I'll be taking names for registration so please contact me here or

privately if you're interested in signing up, or if you have any questions.

Smiles,

Nora

Just wanted to let everyone know that the interview with Loren

actually seems to have been at noon - 1pm. I think it airs again at

4am.

Yeah, thanks Stephen. They made a last minute change apparently, and talked

to Loren from 12:30 to 1:00. I believe they rerun the entire 2 hour Kevin

McDonald Show starting at 4 a.m. the next day, so Loren's interview will most

likely be 4:30-5:00. If you're planning to get up early just to listen you

might want to check their website to confirm this.

I got up early and did tape the interview. Loren was on for half an

hour. I can loan the tape to anyone who wants to make copies.
