Guest guest Posted July 6, 2003 Report Share Posted July 6, 2003 hello out here... i strongly believe that organic produce is the way to go but i personally buy a large percentage of conventional produce cuz i buy for quality why??? cuz organic produce doesn't have any requirements for nutrition and the brixheads (i'm one < http://www.crossroads.ws/index.htm > find that a lot of organic produce is pretty low grade stuff it's a toss up... poison yourself or starve yourself of nutrients i dunno... but for produce to have quality at all it's has to be grown with a minimal amount of spray (spray kills the microorganisms which feed the plants) and some crops like avo don't need any spray (at least that's what i've observed in the wild) altho spray may be used on the weeds in the understory below is a list i came across and i thot i'd pass it along to everyone i don't know how accurate it is but from what i know of gardening it looks pretty reasonable... norm )~ ~~~ raw food... simply delicious ~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dirty dozen: The 12 most polluted foods If you can't buy all organic, buy wisely -- some foods are far more heavily sprayed than others. I understand that cotton has more toxins sprayed on it than any of the foods listed. There again, buy organic!!
