They have typically offered one " raw night " per month. They have also offered raw meals given enough notice, so it's a wonderful place to go with non-raw-foodists. Even SAD food eaters enjoy it. Right now they are closed with a message on their website they are closed till 8/11. Hopefully they will be back up and running offering wonderful raw foods. Perhaps some other members of the list have other favorite dining spots. Jeff
Guest guest
Jeff- Excellent restaraunt called "My Sweet Lord" on 56th and Roosevelt. Only open a few nights a week. Run by Hare Krsna's but they are in no way imposing. GREAT energy and even better food (it's even blessed)...holy food it is. Was having BAD gastro problems, ate there, next day ALL symptoms gone...anyways enjoy! Light and Love, Joshua Jeff Rogers <jeff wrote: >Where do you guys go out to eat? Guest guest
Joshua, Do they serve much raw food? While living in Hawaii, I frequented the restaurant at the Hare Krsna temple. They did have wonderful satisfying food and even had a salad bar. I wasn't eating all raw back then, but certainly appreciated their wonderful salads. Only open a few nights a week. Run by Hare Krsna's... Hmmm...I wonder if they got their name from the George Harrison song of the same title, in which the chorus sings " Hare Krsna " many times. LOL. Seems like they must have. It *is* a really good song. :-)
