Guest guest
Good evening, I was talking to one of my bike building buddies (in San Jose, CA) who also happens to be doing aggressive research on nutrition on behalf of himself and some relatives whose health is failing. He recommended a site by Dr. Walford. His focus is on finding the diet that will allow us to live 120 years or more. He has a freeware program that will take a given amount of food you've eaten in a day and tell you the amount of nutrients totalled up in all of it and whether it meets a day's recommended intake. If not it will recommend additional foods required to make up the difference. I haven't looked at the site in detail, I recommend on the strength of my friend's research habits. I believe it concludes that supplements are necessary, but this may be based on the fact that cooked foods have the usable nutrition cooked out of them. Hope it helps, Nick Hein Morgantown, WV
