Guest guest
I know that you can buy some raw cheese at whole foods market. They will tell you which ones are raw and sample them for you when you go in. Guest guest
Hi raw seattle, don't know who asked about raw dairy, but I am milking one goat now and making yogurt and cultured cream cheese with whole raw goat's milk.....incredible product. I am fairly new to goats but sure love them.....though I don't want to sell any raw milk products, anyone who wants to keep a goat, or help out could call me..... fresh blackberry icecream..... Guest guest
I'm not asking this to be difficult, but out of curiosity: When asked their reasons for eating a raw foods diet, raw foodists often say that animals don't cook their food. I.e. the only animal that eats cooked food is humans ( & the animals we feed). By the same logic, the only animal to drink the milk of another species or drink milk after they are weaned is humans. So why would a raw foodist want to consume dairy, even if it is raw?
Guest guest
I suppose my way of thinking doesn't question what people want to eat. We all have to do what is right for us. We have a very hard time when other judge us for the way we choose to eat, yet I find that we judge them right back. I'm not trying to be difficult either, but just by asking that question, it seems to be passing judgement, probably unintentionally, on someone who's asking a question and uses this group for support. Raw foodists don't just eat fruit, vegetables, seeds and nuts. There are others out there that eat raw fish and raw dairy as well. Guest guest
Nope, not passing judgement, just asking a question out of curiosity. --- Tanya Gunby <leeandtanya wrote: > I suppose my way of thinking doesn't question what > people want to eat. Guest guest
You can get Stonefelt & Company's Greenbank Farms raw cheese (both cow and goat) at many natural food stores (PCC, etc). They are based in Preston, WA. --- nachman laufman <n_laufman wrote: > look at realmilk.com > i was researching places a few months ago and it seems like the closest > places willing to sell are about a two hour trip from seattle.....vashon > island, leavenworth...... > N > > > > " bleucadenza " <bleucadenza > >RawSeattle > >RawSeattle > >[RawSeattle] Raw dairy? > >Wed, 10 Sep 2003 17:00:19 -0000 > > > >Does anyone know of any sources of raw/unpasteurized dairy in the Seattle > >area? > >Cheese, milks, fermented products, etc. > >Thanks. > >
Guest guest
Greetings beautiful spirits, food is ultimately a choice of experience. if your only concern in being a raw foodists is what kind of raw foodist your going to be.... it will be a very miserable experience however if you eat raw fruit, vegetables, seeds and nuts to have a closer relationship to yourself, your mate and your creator and the most high spirit then that striving puts what you put into your mouth in perspective. many spirits seem to be caught in a mind maze regarding supplimentation, animal products, and what raw food regieme they want to follow.... it is sad to see people grasp the science of raw food and still be stuck in a mind maze of confusing consumerism.... if you are sincere in your seach ask yourself " what is the highest good?
