Guest guest
Dearest Raw Community, This is a call for help and support for the end of a raw food pregnancy. As you know Raw Food is one level of recapuring ones health and creating a more holistic peaceful planet. SueAnn's water broke about a month and a week early and our mid-wife has refused to deliver the child. We went to the pedaitric ward in Seattle, but being their with doctors pushing drugs constantly was stressful and so we went home. You can imagine the amount of shock and awe a doctor might have when they see someone take their health (baby and mother) into their own hands. I feel that this is the cornerstone of holistic living, the first step being raw food and taking care of ones own health. SueAnn is taking it easy at home right now, and I would like to hear from anyone that might be able to help with the delivery. We feel confident that we will be delivering at home, but acknowledge that any help would be wonderful. Also, help with juicing and cleaning would be so very welcome to anyone that would bring a positive vibration into our space. For the raw food community to survive we must pass on our personal rejuvination to our children. I imagine a wonderful support group forming were we could solve simple issues like living, eating and creating life. Thank you so much in advance for your wonderful love and abundance. in the spirit of supreme love The Fentress Family _______________ Compare high-speed Internet plans, starting at $26.95. https://broadband.msn.com (Prices may vary by service area.) Guest guest
Dear Fentress family, What courage, and I urge you to find a holistic practioner who would be willing to assist you. A factor to be very careful with at this point is the introduction of any bacteria into the womb(careful with any inserting of hands to check for dilation of cervix) - a colloidal silver and urine douche may be helpful. How much water was released when the waters broke, and is she releasing now? Definitely relax, and yet it is said that walking helps to induce labor as does drinking an ounce or so of castor oil, which may or may not be called for at this point- another reason to find an experienced doula or naturopathic physician. Guest guest
Please know that I share this information with sincere desire to help and not hinder your chosen path.. I do not have the medical expertise to guide you but I wish to share a personal experience that may or may not be pertinent. My mother's water broke (no she was not raw) and did nothing for a few days. She started into labor and went to the hospital and delivered me 2 months premature. Because the water had broken there was the opportunity for infection to invade and spread. We were both on the critical list for 3 days. We both survived and are fine. I do not wish to scare you but I feel that there is a need to take every precaution necessary to provide the best healthy enviroment for both the mother and baby. My prayers are with your Light and Love Ramona - simon fentress RawSeattle Saturday, November 08, 2003 11:10 PM [RawSeattle] raw pregnancy help Dearest Raw Community, This is a call for help and support for the end of a raw food pregnancy. Guest guest
Dear Fentress Family Though I was not raw at the time of my pregnancies 10 and 13 years ago (I've been raw for almost 9 months), I did have both of my children at home. I was attended by a midwife for my 13 year old son's birth. My 10 year old daughter's birth was a planned unattended homebirth--just me, my husband, and my 3-1/2 year old. It was an incredibly wonderfully experience. I am not suggesting that this is the right choice for you, but I would like to offer to talk with you about what my experience and what I learned. I can offer you support for this very normal and exciting life event. Our society tends to treat childbirth with fear, but there are alternatives. Please feel free to e-mail me (bystrom) or call me (425- 402-9048). Take care, Tina Bystrom
