Guest guest
Hello Friends in the Frozen North: Please bear with me while I be a sassy smart-alek......(I'm on my boat in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale). Not sure why I'm writing. Saw Sam working at PCC. How nice! Great store! Regarding fruits: they are all so much better in the tropics. Regarding wearing gloves because it's too darn cold in Seattle: It's so warm here in Miami I have gone swimming every day for a week. I can walk outdoors at 10pm in a T-shirt, or no shirt! Awesome. Can buy canistel, sapodilla, sapote, coconut, longan, etc., all grown locally at farmer's markets. Have found 6 raw food restaurants in a coastal span about the same distance as Tacoma to Everett. Don't mean to make you all feel bad in frozen Seattle, but the tropics DO have their benefits. If you ever make it to Miami you'll love the incredible desserts at " Food without Fire " in Miami Beach. Be sure to go to the Coconut Grove Saturday Farmer's Market. Read all about 'em here: http://www.gardenofhealth.com/miamilive/ I'm on my boat in a boatyard doing some painting and maintenance. Best regards to my frozen raw food buddies! -Mark Blackburn ---- Mark S.
