Guest guest
I would mention that Candidate Kucinich is also a socialist with a better idea of how to spend your money than you have. (Just like the same-old, same-old tired Republican & Democrat agenda). America desperately needs a 2nd and 3rd political party to go head to head with our utterly corrupt, contemptable single-party duality (Republicans & Democrats). They for their part do everything in their power to make 2nd party efforts in vain. Their recent campaign reform bill had much more to do with ensuring the reelection of incumbents and locking out 2nd party efforts than it did with any actual campaign reform. When I was a schoolboy I heard how Mexico was so corrupt....they only had 1 political party. Heck, now they have several, and we only have 1! (And look who is now more corrupt). If you are getting your head cleared enough, you might look into www.lp.org, the Libertarian Party which advocates something which used to be popular in America a long, long time ago: Freedom. Libertarians have a free-market solution to the polution problems which would cost much less. They basically want to shrink government and get it out of your raw life. Remember that the free market (people's desires) drive a lot of what happens in the marketplace. If a vegan is elected it does not mean that suddenly the whole country will be vegan. -Mark Blackburn 1. Re: Kucinich - a vegan president! RE: Antare's request and Jeff's response to stay " on topic " . In my opinion, even if Kucinich wasn't vegan, his candidacy would be relevant to our efforts to obtain safe, pure, fresh, non-corporate-GMO food. For us not to discuss relevant politics does ourselves and the planet without which we could not be raw foodists, a disservice. Kucinich wants to take the US out of the WTO and NAFTA, which is relevant because it supports local agriculture whcih means a reliable supply of yummy food for us. He also supports a lot of other sane policies in contrast to Bush and Dean, who would continue to support corporate ecocide. What could be more relevant?! The ability of the Earth to support life is immanently relevant to live fooders and other living beings everywhere! I support everyone on this list to not avoid politics in this critical time but rather to get active. Do some research, go to kucinich.us, compare him to Dean and Bush. The democratic caucas is Feb 7, 10 am - noon. If you beleive that a living planet is best for live fooders then get out there and vote for Kucinich! (You can vote for who ever later if he loses). I beleive that to be raw foodists existing in a bubble of limited raw food concerns is not the way to live. Guest guest
Mark, Very astute and important observations! When you baby-sit people long enough, they start to think they need to be baby-sat. That's the unfortunate state of affairs right now. I don't know if a Libertarian president could solve all our problems, but at least s/he wouldn't further erode my personal rights in his/her attempt. As raw foodists, we need to retain the choices we are losing under Democrat/Republican rule -- to travel unimpeded, to keep the fruits of our labor, to protect ourselves as we see fit and to not have mainstream medicine (vaccinations, etc.) forced on us. It would be a sorry trade off to give these away in exchange for the comfort of knowing our president doesn't eat animal products and opposes GMOs. Go Harry Browne! Guest guest
Here is a chance to eat fresh from a veganic farm in Florida..... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. The Kwatamani's food is the best that I've ever eaten and definitely uncompromisingly raw. They make all of their own oils ( except barioni olive oil ) and all of the food is fresh from the veganic garden. Kofi Kwatamani has been a raw foodists for around thirty five years, living in Asia and Africa for most of that time. This guy knows his stuff and knows how to eat.... good. Below is a posting of an event that they are having coming up in March In the Spirit of Supreme Love Simon Fentress > > > Greetings, > > > > The Sacred Garden Culture is an emerging reality. Many of you have been asking and this is to inform you that " Book Two: The Holistic Living Truth About Supreme Love: The Sacred Resurrection of the Divine Garden Culture, Resurrecting The Divine Mind of Thought " has been completed. The startling and challenging new message is in its pre-publishing phase. > > > > Let me stop here to assure each of you that Book Two is guaranteed to open up your divine spiritual consciousness of mental thought, and that is a definite understatement. smile. As was agreed last year during the national tour of " Book One: The Holistic Living Truth About Supreme Love, " The High Priest Kwatamani is also focused on holding a sacred healing circle gathering at the Kwatamani Holistic Living Garden and Spiritual Retreat on Saturday, March 13 and Sunday, March 14, 2004. > > > > We are growing a sacred garden environment for individuals who truly seek a greater holistic self-healing experience. This gathering is for holistic healers and those who seek holistic self-healing. The gathering will feature full-course gourmet feasts of the Kwatamani Divine Healing Cuisine selected from our bountiful and vibrant veganic garden in sunny southwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico side. Healing practitioners who would like to offer their natural healing services are encouraged to contact the Kwatamani Holistic Institute immediately, and a select group will be featured based on authenticity . The sacred healing circle gathering will require a demonstration from each practitioner. This is an opportunity to receive divine knowledge, divine wisdom and divine understanding from the High Priest Kwatamani, a supreme sooth-sayer, supreme soul seer and supreme spiritual healer of the ancient traditions of the sacred garden culture. The High Priest will lecture and there will demonstrations of yoga, massage, breathing techniques, and other holistic practices throughout the gathering. > > > > We are putting together a full package to allow as many people as possible to experience the Kwatamani divine socio-economic family community. We are open to recommendations on the package price. The package includes: a copy of Book Two, presentations, feasts, music, song and dance expression, and accessibility to other healing practitioners. There is limited accommodations at the Kwatamani Gardens. However, tent space on the grounds and hotel accommodations in the nearby town can be made available. For those within driving distance, car pools can be arranged. The weather is expected to be in the mid-70's. > > > > We, therefore, ask any of you who are interested in coming forward to e-mail us to submit your interest immediately on or before Friday, January 16. We would like to have the entire program flyer prepared and back to you or in the mail to others by Saturday morning. > > > > It is the plan for Book Two to be available at the Kwatamani Sacred Healing Circle Gathering in March. " I need not remind any of you who have read Book One that the High Priest Kwatamani is most seriously being guided by the most supreme spirit of the Most High Essence of Life. In accordance with prophetic comprehension within a divine interventionary plan, The High Priest Kwatamani is compelled to complete this trilogy by April 11, 2004, by every divine means necessary. > > > > " Book One: The Holistic Living Truth About Supreme Love: The Sacred Resurrection of the Divine Garden Culture, Resurrecting the Divine Body of Flesh, " focuses on divine consumption as it relates to physical health and well-being, or body resurrection. The whole consumption of raw and living fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts is just the beginning of a whole new energy cycle within the body and upon the planet Earth as addressed in this comprehensive analysis. Book One continues to spread by word of mouth and is being received with tremendous appreciation and accolades regarding its spiritual purity. > > > > Please forward this e-mail or snail mail it to anyone who may be interested and let us hear from you on or before Friday, January 16. > > > > Stay in the Most Supreme Spirit of Love, Righteousness > > and the Holistic Living Truth, > > Royal Priestess Gail Kwatamani > > 850-258-9684 > > www.livefoodsunchild.com _______________ Scope out the new MSN Plus Internet Software — optimizes dial-up to the max! http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us & page=byoa/plus & ST=
