Guest guest
Be aware that the Hudson Institute cited in this article is a conservative think tank funded in part by agribiz. Their founder, Herman Kahn, was a firm believer in the " winability " of nuclear war and was the person on whom the character in Dr. Strangelove was based. They are also the driving force behind the " Center For Global Food Issues " www.cgfi.org (their bogus slogan is " Growing More Per Acre Leaves More Land For Nature " ) which actively attacks organic farming, promotes the use of hormones, pesticides, genetic engineering, etc. Watch out for these guys when you see them mentioned in news articles, press releases, etc. They carry a heavy dose of aribiz propaganda.
