Hello!

I am missing one tool for my raw kitchen, a Saladacco! I know I can get them

online, but I really don't want to spend $9.95 on shipping for an item that only

costs $24.95.

Does anyone know where I can get them locally, and if so, where the

best/cheapest place is?

Spruce/Bruce made us some DELICIOUS pasta in our Everyday Raw class and I've

been craving it since!

Thank you in advance,

-starrrie

Good evening,

A few years ago I stopped at the kitchen store in Issaquah (in the shopping

center on Gilman Blvd) and they were selling a bunch that they had used (once)

in a class. Price $5 and I'm still using it. I just happened to get lucky,

they were only there briefly but you might find such a deal somewhere else.

I have them for $25.00 plus shipping. Or you can get them at Sur le

Table(sp.) but I don't know how much they are.

Bruce (Horowitz) had suggested people pooling their orders to get a

good price on appliances (Vita-Mix, etc.) I'm sure if there is enough

interest in Saladaccos, a great deal could be had. If Bruce is

planning such an order perhaps an order of Saladaccos could be

included. I purchased a couple from Victoria.

I've heard that Linens & Things has the Joyce Chen spiralizer for

less than $15.

Heather ~

If you do find the saladacco at Linens & Things, perhaps you could

post the price so we know whether the rumor is true. I'd go check if

I lived anywhere near one ....

Good luck!

I found, $14.99, but didn’t see the word saladacco on the box, it is called

Spiral Slicer, and in the left upper corner Joyce Chen.

I didn’t buy it, it looks very cheap, I will break it in a week.

I've got both Saladaco and Joyce Chen's Spiral Slicer and I don't see a

difference between them.

What Linens & Things has them? I called the Lynnwood store and they don't have

it.

The Lynnwood store is the one where I found it, I live in Bothell. Go to the

store find the place where they have plastic and glass containers for lunch

boxes and to store food, there is a shelf with Chinese stuff, look for yellow

boxes. There will be also cook books by Joyce Chen next to it.
