They sell videos. Or video doesn’t give same effect as it is in a class with a

group of

same-minded people?

two-hour long sessions I was taking. I'm seriously considering taking the

classes again, and would *highly* recommend them to anyone near Capitol Hill!

They also teach classes at the East/West Bookstore.

http://zyqigong.org/ is the link for the people I studied with. Ernst and Clair

are both amazing people. They are cooked food eaters, and do advocate eating

cooked foods in their practice, however I never felt pressured to do anything I

didn't want to, including eating food.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Kevin, I live in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm not willing to travel a long distance

and spend a lot of money when the medical qigong I plan to learn costs $10 a

class and is 10 minutes from home. The teacher is affiliated with a medicineless

hospital in China that boasts a 90-95% success rate with 180 dis-eases. Not to

mention that the healing art is 5000 years old. As long as they don't try to

talk me into eating cooked food . . .

Thanks,

Martha

I've never seen the videos so I cannot fairly say if they would be as good. I

would say if you are familiar with energy channels within your body and the

movement of the energy that using a tape would likely be just as good. If this

would be your first experience with moving the chi within your body taking a

class in person would likely be better, as it would allow you to ask questions.

Like minded people are always nice to spend time with too, though! :)

Yep, I'm familiar with moving energy--prana through yoga. Yoga is

keepine me flexible but it isn't making me well. This particular type of

qigong has a good reputation for healing. A video would work, but group

energy is important.

Thanks, everybody, for your kind suggestions.
