You'll find there's a lot going on veg-wise in the Bay Area, with many local groups offering a variety of activities. BAV events are open to everyone, single, couples, trios, etc., and we especially welcome folks who are just starting/transitioning to being vegetarian/vegan. I encourage folks to use the events and the mailing lists as opportunities to create and enjoy " veg community " . I've met many nice folks at our events, and many of them are single, too. If you are looking specifically looking for a group of singles, there is a Veggie Singles group. As you're from Sac, did you know there is also a Sacramento Vegetarian Society? You can find both listed on the resources page on our website http://www.bayareaveg.org Our calendar of upcoming events is also on the website. I look forward to meeting many new and old veg friends this Saturday at the Oakland Vegan Food Party.
