Guest guest
Hey Folks, Just wanted to let people know that a local restaurant has just announced that it has recently made the decision to offer several vegetarian and vegan options on it's menu. In addition to this great news they have decided to serve almost exclusively organic produce in their dishes. The restaurant is Magnolia Pub & Brewery located at 1398 Haight Street at Masonic. WWW.MAGNOLIAPUB.COM It's a great place with a friendly staff and good tunes in the background. They brew their own beer there and make their own soda as well. Anyway, it's really important that people support restaurants that offer vegan options to show restauranters that offering vegan food is a good business decision. Let's make sure Magnolia's doesn't take the vegan offerings off the menu because of poor sales. And if you do stop by tell them how much you appreciate the fact that they do offer vegan food. Drop 'em an email too! Thanks and enjoy! Warren PS - I have no business association with Magnolia Pub & brewery.
Guest guest
I remember a couple of years ago Magnolia added a few vegetarian options at the request of a patron, but the options were gone the next time i went back.... So hopefully enough of us will stop by early on to make them feel like they made a good decision. I stopped by Magnolia a few weeks ago to meet a friend for a drink and saw no vegan friendly options on the menu other than a green salad with cheese withheld. And looking at their website, i still see no mention of the words vegetarian/vegan other than the description of the feed used for their chicken. Any idea when we they plan to add the veggy options to their menu? mud biguyskrsf wrote: >Hey Folks, > >Just wanted to let people know that a local restaurant has just announced that it has recently made the decision to offer several vegetarian and vegan options on it's menu. Guest guest
Is their beer vegan ? (let's cut to the important stuff!) Can someone in the city organize a group outing? I don't live nearby, so I'd need an excuse to go there. They even use the " vegan " word on their website. You just need to look in the right place. I ate there tonight and had a vegan appetizer and entree. I double checked with the waitperson to make sure they are vegan and she reassured me that they are vegan. Please check them out and let them know via their website that you are happy that they added vegan options. Thanks. Warren
Guest guest
Marcy wrote: " Is their beer vegan ? " I'm not sure if their beer is vegan or not. I don't drink so I didn't bother to ask. I have a feeling that it is since they brew it on site but If someone could call them and ask and then report back here that would be great!
