He is founder of the Wellness Center, an alternative holistic healing center in the Philippines. In his discussion, Dada will share some of his studies of Natural Therapy, an ancient secret to good health. Dada Dharma-Vedananda was born in America. In 1972, he trained as a yoga monk in India. Since then he has worked in more than 50 countries, including India, Australia, Europe, China, Korea and Japan. Dada’s specialty is natural therapy. He set up natural therapy clinics in Taiwan and Korea. He has given individual treatment to well over 2000 patients. Presently, he manages the Diagnostic and Education Center in Capitol Site, Cebu City, from where he teaches yoga and operates an outpatient clinic with follow-through treatment. Dada is the author of Travels with the Mystic Master: True Tales of a Tantra Yogi. He has recently recorded a CD on relaxation and meditation, Yoga Nidra: the Yoga of Sleep, at the request of his natural therapy patients, to help them with various problems such as insomnia and stress. Indian Vegetarian Cooking Class with Didi Ananda Atandra Sunday, October 26, 2003 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Learn how to cook Indian cuisine following a vegetarian, yogic diet. Didi Ananda Atandra will teach how to easily prepare dishes using ingredients that can be found in any mainstream grocery store. A delicious meal will be shared following the class. $20 suggested donation, $15 for students.
