Seeking vegan or vegan-friendly MD in Berkeley/Oakland/Albany area

Greetings,

 

Because my general practioner is moving locations, I

am considering switching to a new doctor. The ideal

candidate would be vegan or at least open to patients

who are on a vegan diet, practice an integrative

approach to medicine (i.e., up on the latest Western

techniques, but also open to alternative/non-Western

approaches that have been shown to be beneficial), be

willing to refer patients for specialized treatment

when asked, and have an office somewhere in the

Berkeley, North Oakland, Albany, or El Cerrito areas.

I recommend Dr. Chialin Tsao. She's a GP but also does accupuncture and

has a background in oncology. She herself is not veg, but she " gets it " .

Her office is in Berkeley on Telegraph near Ashby:
