Guest guest
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and if it is even legal: Yesterday as my husband got off work a man in the parking lot wearing a " U.S. BEEF " t-shirt asked him if he wanted " really tender beef cheap " , and behind him was a small delivery van that said " U.S. Beef " on it. My husband was pretty shocked and disgusted that he was beeing solicited to buy beef at his place of work out of some guys van. Not only is it sick that the beef industry seems to be taking over the world, I'm wondering if this is even legal or some type of scam. What's next, kids knocking on your door selling beef as a school fundraiser?

Guest guest
According to prop M in SF, any soliciation in a public parking lot is illegal (even girl scouts selling cookies). I would love to see these guys ticketed for doing this. click for more info <http://www.nomorehomelessness.org/> , " Laurie " <lulubuns> wrote: > I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and if it is > even legal: > Yesterday as my husband got off work a man in the parking lot wearing > a " U.S. BEEF " t-shirt asked him if he wanted " really tender beef > cheap " , and behind him was a small delivery van that said " U.S. Beef " > on it. Guest guest
The parking lot may be owned by the employer and thus not be public.
