Guest guest
Anyone know of one, anywhere in the bay area? A friend has an ache to go to one of those cheesy mystery dinner theater type things, and if that weren't bad enough, most seem to have a fixed meal with at best a cheesy (dairy) vegetarian option. Thanks, -- Mike Linksvayer http://gondwanaland.com/ml/
Guest guest
from what i've heard from vegans about such fixed price dinner theater events, you can almost always call in advance and have a special meal made for you. some chefs will either acommodate on the spot or plan something in advance. either way, don't be afraid to call up and ask - you are the paying customer, after all. Guest guest
We went to Teatro Zinzanni recently, and they have a vegan option. It's not on the menu, but you don't have to order it in advance either. They claim to have several vegan options on their website (http://zinzanni.org/). -Rob , " Mike Linksvayer " <ml@g...> wrote: > Anyone know of one, anywhere in the bay area? > > A friend has an ache to go to one of those cheesy mystery dinner > theater type things, and if that weren't bad enough, most seem to have > a fixed meal with at best a cheesy (dairy) vegetarian option. > > Thanks, > -- > Mike Linksvayer > http://gondwanaland.com/ml/

That's what I did at <http://www.pleasantonhotel.com>. Went Friday night. The chef came out and explained how he made each dish, which I appreciated. Pretty tasty for western food too. No comment on the show. Thanks for the advice (a few people also emailed me privately saying the same thing). -- Mike Linksvayer http://gondwanaland.com/ml/
