Raw Grains: Ancient Health Food

Roman legions ate raw grains for stamina, peaceful Essenes advocated them for healing & vitality, hard-working Swiss farmers started their day with a bowl of muesli, European nature-cure doctors have promoted raw grains since the 1800's.

The longest-lived traditional peoples (Okinawans, Vilcabambas, Tarahumaras, Hunzas, etc.) eat the most grains.

Modern research shows that grains are full of beneficial phytonutrients.

Raw grains are low-cost, easy to prepare, tasty, and versatile.

Our speaker, Jordan Rothstein, CMT has been a vegetarian for 37 years, for non-violence and health.

He eats like a horse and has been feeling his oats since learning about the benefits of raw foods 4 years ago.

We hope to see you next week as we welcome the coming of spring: a time of rebirth, healing, and rejuvenation. Thank you for reading.
