Guest guest
>Does anyone know anything about Animal Liberation Orchestra? I don't know anything about this group in particular. Their web site is www.alomusic.com and has some sound clips, video, texts, etc. Music sounds decent enough though I'd prefer they did without the lyrics and were purely instrumental. One thing I always like to point out to people is that musical instrument making, at least traditional instruments, ain't necessarily vegan. Animal skins are the traditional material for drum striking surfaces, though synthetics now exist. Lots of felt in pianos. Shellac is widely used in finishes on fine guitars and other plucked strings, etc. I've benn thinking of offering handmade 100% vegan endblown and vessal flutes for sale as a side venture... Guest guest
I'm not 100% sure of this but what I have heard is that they are not vegan or into animal rights. I was told by a friend that they simply liked the sound of that name. This is all hearsay so I could be wrong. Warren
