$25 ticket giveaway for Peaceable Kingdom screening & reception!

Hi folks,

Bay Area Vegetarians has a few complimentary tickets that we are giving away to this Friday's screening of Peaceable Kingdom at the War Memorial Opera House at 7:30 pm. The SF Premiere screening, organized by Tribe of Heart, is hosted by Alicia Silverstone, followed by discussion with the producer James LaVeck, director Jenny Stein, and subjects of the film, which include Lorri Bauston of Farm Sanctuary, and author Jim Mason. After the discussion, there is a yummy reception catered by Sparks.

-Special guests include Eddie Lama ("The Witness") and Matt Gonzales of San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

-Each ticket is worth $25.

Contest 1 - random selection of at least one winner from pool of all entries received

Contest 2 - inspire us! tell us your best idea for a project or campaign that we can use to promote veganism in the bay area... we'll select at least one winner from pool of entries.

RULES:

1) All contest entries must be received by Wednesday, July 28th, midnight PST to the above email addresses.

2) Contest is only for folks who are BAV members and d to one of our mailing lists (SFBAVEG, SFBAVEG-EVENTS, BAV-NEWS, COASTVEG) or registered in our forum (http://www.bayareaveg.org/forum). If you're not sending it from your email address that your membership is associated with, please include that separately.

3) Please only enter the contest if you are definite that you will be able to attend, and can pick up the tickets from us at the theatre on Friday at 7 pm promptly.

Thanks to everyone who entered, and your interest in this screening. For the second contest, ideas to promote veganism, there were some really great ideas shared. We had a difficult time selecting; more to follow on that later. Anyways, the winners of both contest have been notified by email already.

Meanwhile, just a reminder for those who didn't win our pair of tickets, there are still tickets available, but I'd encourage you to not delay further since the event will sell out.
