Guest guest
Does anyone know of a group or nonprofit that plans to help reunite animals lost in the tsunami, orphaned, or hurt? Would love any info anyone has. (I've already sent PETA an email) Thanks!
Guest guest
Help for Tsunami animals? Does anyone know of a group or nonprofit that plans to help reunite animals lost in the tsunami, orphaned, or hurt? Would love any info anyone has. (I've already sent PETA an email) Thanks! Copy of an email from Animals Asia: Dear Friends of Animals Asia, Our hearts and prayers go out to the thousands and thousands of people and animals affected by this terrible tragedy. Animals Asia is helping with some financial support and Jill Robinson has today flown to Phuket with suitcases of veterinary supplies to assist the Soi Dog Foundation who are in desperate need of aid. Meanwhile, we are also being contacted by people wanting to donate to those on the front line and have begun a list of groups on our website. We either know these groups well or have clarification that they are of good reputation and credibility. http://www.animalsasia.org/index.php?module=6 & menupos=4 & lg=en We will be adding to the list as more information becomes available. We are hearing touching stories of how important animals are in this time of crises, with refugees who have lost everything sharing their rations with their remaining animal friends. Warm wishes, Annie Annie Mather Executive Director, Head of Media Animals Asia Foundation, Hong Kong ANIMALS ASIA HAS A BRAND NEW WEBSITE! Guest guest
Also: The Best Friends Tsunami Animal Relief Fund has been set up in order to help. To contribute, visit their online donations section https://www.bestfriends.org/donate/index.cfm?, and look for instructions under the heading Best Friends Tsunami Animal Relief Fund.
