Sasha is a great dog and I have dog-sat her many times, she lives right

across from us. Her guardian has to give her up due to personal reasons -

Poodle/Tibetan Terrier

 

Eleven years old, excellent health, likely to live 3-6 more years. (I

have all her medical records).

 

Extremely affectionate and cuddly and adorable!

 

Well-trained, obedient, highly intelligent (should be easily trained by a

new person to a new routine).

 

Very energetic, playful, needs at least a 20-minute outing daily.

 

Great with older kids (age eight and above).

 

Doesn't smell and doesn't shed.

 

The downside: Sasha barks a lot when people come to the door. With VERY

consistent reinforcement, she can be trained to stop barking relatively

quickly, but I've never succeeded in training her out of the initial

reaction. So a household with minimal foot traffic would be ideal.

 

Also, she chases cats, so a house with cats wouldn't work. She's fine

around other dogs, though not at all interested in playing with them.
