Guest guest Posted April 16, 2005 Report Share Posted April 16, 2005 Every April (in honor of their anniversary or something), Ben & Jerry’s has “Free Cone Day,” which is exactly what it sounds like. People line up around the block at B & J locations around the country to get a free ice cream cone. It’s this Tuesday, April 19. I’m planning on spending the day leafleting at a couple of different B & J’s and giving out free samples of soy ice cream. I’ll be giving out Viva!’s dairy flyers and veg starter guides, and asking people to sign a petition to get B & J to carry a soy ice cream. Is anyone available to join me or to cover another B & J location? Key times are lunchtime (esp at the location near Powell and Market) and evening.
