Hi, I"m working on a paper on feminist perspectives on vegetarianism and would like to hear from anyone who has personal experiences (both pro and con) on the subject. I am particularly interested in hearing from those who have experiences with feminists who defend meat-eating, and the reasons that they give for their views. I also welcome experiences from femininist conferences and any viewpoints of promininent feminist writers, activists that you have encountered.

Thanks, Marti

While it seems like you are looking for

personal accounts/anecdotes, I thought I’d pass on a mention of these two

books by Carol Adams. Odds are, you’ve already read them or at least seen

them, but I just wanted to be sure.

Hi Marti,

In addition to the books David suggested, these are also good. The

first two are pro-animal, and contain collections of essays from

diverse authors. The last is anti-veg.
