This has the potential to eliminate using any disposables, it's cheaper, and you control the cost/quality of the ingredients used. I'm assuming most offices have a microwave in their kitchen; you can always bring a regular ceramic dish to heat the soup in if you want to avoid microwaving in plastic. The recipe that I like is a simple one from Peaceful Palate -- all you need is the ability to chop and some simple directions: http://www.bayareaveg.org/newsletters/BAV-News-Jan2005.htm#recipe When we make this, we'll usually double it so we have leftover to freeze. Just as a FYI, the recipes that we include in the monthly BAVeg newsletter are usually personal favorites (which means it tastes good and is usually simple to prepare).
