Hi folks!

Could I please ask folks to RSVP again using the evite? Pam's not on email much (which is why I'm posting it), so this is easier for her. If you've already sent an email, could you please RSVP with the evite. Here is the link, and the original email is below.

Hi folks!

I hope you're planning to join us in about 2 weeks for a great Vegan Food Party at Lake Temescal in Oakland.

For those new to Vegan Food Parties (VFPs) or new to Bay Area Vegetarians, in a nutshell (ha ha), VFPs are simply a party where everyone brings a yummy dish to share and we all get together to share food, conversation, and friendship in a friendly, supportive environment. Everyone is welcome at these events -- you don't need to be vegan to attend, you just need to bring vegan food! We highly encourage people to bring a homemade vegan dish to share.

As per the official title "Grass-and-Lake Vegan Food Party", this event is at Lake Temescal which has several picnic tables as well as grassy areas that we can use, and a lake, where you can swim for an additional charge. FYI, the park is open to dogs if they're on a leash.

VFPs are also a great way to "animal test" new vegan recipes! If you need ideas for what to make, check out recipes in the monthly newsletter; those are recipes that are easy to make, and taste great. I also like

This is Pam's 3rd year organizing this great late summer picnic. If you want to help her set-up the sun canopy or reserve a table or two or have a question, you can reach her at 510-653-7966 after 11:00am. Otherwise, just use this link to RSVP:

Cheers,
