MySpace is owned by Rupert Murdoch (of Fox News fame).

They have recently been found to be censoring content

(they blocked links to YouTube, and some claim are

blocking Revver too).

Since they've shown that they will censor content

based on business reasons, it is possible they may

block/censor content that Fox advertisers (like KFC,

etc.) find offensive.

I'm bringing this up just as a heads-up.

I've moderated a KFC Cruelty group on Myspace since August 2004 which has over 5500 members, and I've never had a problem. I also have anti-KFC statements and video on my personal Myspace page with no ill effects. Tom (Myspace's founder) claims he still has complete control over the site and says he will not delete profiles or groups that are not obscene or harassing others. I don't know if this is any indicator of future attitudes, but I just wanted to let everyone know that so far it's been okay. If anyone's interested in joining the group, it's at http://groups.myspace.com/KFCcruelty Thanks, -Mike Borg Ajay <ajayboots wrote: MySpace is owned by Rupert Murdoch (of Fox News fame). They have recently been found to be censoring content(they blocked links to YouTube, and some claim areblocking Revver too).Since they've shown that they will censor contentbased on business reasons, it is possible they mayblock/censor content that Fox advertisers (like KFC,etc.) find offensive.
