STOP HB 301 THE " RIGHT TO HUNT " BILL IN GEORGIA !!!

 

 

HB301 passed out of committee but not in time to survive independently

on its own. For HB 301 to pass, it must be attached to another bill

and

then voted on. Please contact Georgia State Senator IMMEDIATELY

and ask that any bill with HB301 attached be stopped. These are the

last days of the legislative session and bills move very quickly.

 

IT IS URGENT, PLEASE DO NOT DELAY in contacting Georgia

Senators for a 'NO' vote for any bill with HB301 attached.

 

SUMMARY OF of HB 301:

 

HB 301 elevates hunting, trapping and fishing from a " privilege "

to a " right. The bill also provides that there be " no net loss of

hunting opportunity on state-owned lands, " and it improperly

withdraws all authority of counties and municipalities to regulate

hunting, trapping and fishing within their boundaries.

 

 

IN YOUR LETTER TO SENATORS, PLEASE INCLUDE THE

FOLLOWING KEY POINTS FOR VOTE " NO " FOR ANY BILL

WITH HB 301. : (note: Please read the following points first.)

 

 

1: HB 301 improperly withdraws all authority of counties and

municipalities to regulate hunting, trapping and fishing within

their boundaries. This may impede the ability of local governments

to efficiently address matters of public safety.

 

2: HB 301 means a reduction in hunting-free parks and recreation

areas for Georgians to enjoy.

 

3: Any inherently dangerous activity should be a " privilege " and

NOT a " Right " . Hunting and trapping are inherently dangerous

activities involving deadly firearms and other weapons, and

therefore

should remain no more than a privilege.

 

4: HB 301 is unnecessary because there is no threat to hunting

activities in Georgia.

 

5: HB 301 creates a special status for hunters, trappers and fishermen

that is denied to all other participants in sports and recreation.

 

6: HB 301 is to boost hunters position to have the " rights " to KILL.

This will increase Georgia's hostility to the nature and the

engagement in the ANIMAL CRUELTY such as excruciating painful

and barbaric LEGHOLD TRAPS and cruel Arrows & Bows used

by hunters. (nearly all of the civilized countries had outlawed the

Leghold Traps and Arrows).

 

7: Please don't forget to Sign your NAME (U.S. Constituent) and

BE POLITE AND SERIOUS, ALWAYS !!!

members to encourage them to travel to peaceful Georgia for

pleasure

Georgia. This will greatly boost the Economy in Georgia State.

 

However, if HB 301 passed in the Senate, i.e. Georgia boost hunters

position to have the " rights " to kill animals , we will advise all

of our

friends and all of our members and business associates globally NOT

to travel to Georgia for pleasure . We will also advise them

NEVER

buy any products and services from Georgia because of Georgia's

hostility to the nature and the engagement in the animal cruelty

such

as painful cruel LEGHOLD TRAPS and cruel ARROWS & BOWS

(both had been outlawed in most of civilized countries.)

While today's economy intertwined globally, this will undoubtedly

greatly reduce the Economy in Georgia State .
