This year's annual International Whaling Commission (IWC) meeting ,

the first in Japan in nine years, has begun with scientific committee

discussions from April 25 in Shimonoseki, Japan.

The plenary meeting is to be held from May 20-24, 2002.

There will be delegations from the 43 nations to vote to decide whales'

final fate whether to pass the resumption of the cruel, bloody world

Commercial Whaling again. Japan and Norway, as ever, are pressing for

an end to the IWC's ban on commercial whaling .

 

The Japan and Norway have been using tricks, lies, threats,

for example: buying the votes from IWC members in the attempt to

resume the commercial whaling in the world.

The Japan has been using tricks, lies, money to buy the votes from

IWC members in the attempt to resume the world commercial

whaling .

 

2: PLEASE STOP JAPAN & NORWAY EACH COUNTRY IS NOW

KILLING 500-700 WHALES EACH YEAR BY USING " SCIENTIFIC

RESEARCH " AS AN EXCUSE FOR COMMERCIAL WHALING :

The Japanese recent expanded " scientific " whaling program

conducted by the Government of Japan, which now includes the

killing of the endangered sei whale, and also the decision to reopen

trade in whale parts with Norway. The Japanese government sponsored

program for killing whales is nothing but commercial whaling in

disguise.

 

3: PLEASE STOP RMS (REVISED MANAGEMENT SCHEME)

WHICH IS THE SCHEME TO RESUME THE COMMERCIAL

WHALING : This is the masterpiece of former Vice President Gore.

In an exchange of missiles for whales, Gore had completely ignored

the protection of whales irregardless of the objection from the world.
