Animal Taxie , SecondhandAnimals, Cats, & Kittens..... Can you help?

Hello,

I have a situation rising, that I fully expected to happen,

and the only way to really fix it is to share this info with other

like minded people, and spread the news, to generate support, and

possible find some new people to help in this effort.

 

 

Here is the scoop ~

 

In North Carolina There are NO shelters that are NO KILL SHELTERS.

as a result there are LOTS of kittens and cats that IF they go to the

pound, or an animal shelter, they WILL most likely be put to sleep.

The thought of this stops people from taking these animals TO the

shelters. So there are LOTS of kittens starting to become wild.

they are going feral.

There are also LOTS of people so distraught about these kittens, they

are doing TOO much to try and help, and then they are becoming swamped

with kittens, and stress.

 

I have created a few websites, and message boards to try to help,

as I my self am in California, I have experience with feral cats,

and being an adoption coordinator, for our local humane society,

then for my own 1/2 way house for homeless animals, then and currently

an adoption coordinator for the National Reptile Foundation.

 

The bottom line is Kittens will happen, Cats will happen,

No matter how many people we educate about getting the animals fixed,

there will always be more that happen.

 

There ARE other possibilities, such as finding them homes,

but in the mean time, they need to BE somewhere.

A FOSTER HOME!

 

We have a woman there that has taken 20 cats / kittens OUT of the

area, and the 20 animals have all had their shots, been fixed, and

have found permanant homes.

NOW this is wonderful news, however they have ALL gone to the same house!

They can NOT take anymore animals, and do not wish to just be a foster

home, so we MUST find some FOSTER HOMES!

 

IF there is anyone out there reading this message, IF you might be

able to help FOSTER some animals, ( a temporary home for an animal

while a new home is found for it) Please let us know!

 

It does not matter where you live. We have a web site to help with

We need to establish a connection with people that drive, and don't

mind taking an animal as a passenger.

 

Be it a short trip or cross country. IF you can help us out, Please

let us know!

 

We would like to establish a NO KILL SHELTER in North Carolina.

IF you know any veternarian who could dontate a surgery of a spay or a

neuter Please let them know about us, Give them our website Please!.
