Guest guest
Hello! I'm sure by now we have all heard about the drowning polar bears and now baby seals. The ice these animals would usually find rest or refuge on is melting or gone. So how crazy is it if " we " were to bring in platforms to replace the ice? I know I can hear some folks saying that it's disrupting the balance of nature. But the way I see it, we have already disrupted nature and this would help some. Any thoughts or comments? It's just an idea that came to mind. Just thought I'd share. Mo

Guest guest
Hi Jill, Thanks for the response. I'm new to the group as well. Just wanted to share an idea. Maybe PETA or Greenpeace do it? I'd be willing to help! Take care! Guest guest
I think that rather than make our world out of plastic, we should re- build what was there. This could take quite a bit, but in the long run, i think it would be better for everyone. We can start by cutting down - a lot - on our global warming inpact. If you have seen An Inconvinient Truth, you will have a good lot of information. Even if you havn't, I'm sure you know what I am talking about. If we can cut down on global warming, at least we wont be causing more damage. Then we can focus on un-doing what we have done. If we cut down on global warming, some of the ice may come back on its own. If not, instead of plastic, why not ice? Just put back what we took away. Sure, it will take a lot of work, but isnt it worth it to have polar bears and seals? Isnt it worth it for our planet to continue being livable? Isnt it worth it for all our wrong doings? What do you think? , " mori3cats " <mori3cats wrote: > > Hello! > > I'm sure by now we have all heard about the drowning polar bears and > now baby seals. Guest guest
Great idea! And you are right. The polar bears and baby seals are worth it and will show our children and the world that all life has value! mo akilah120 <SANA120 wrote: I think that rather than make our world out of plastic, we should re-build what was there.
