At the top of the page, this organization says that it is

investigating WAO, the Wild Animal Orphanage owned by Carol Asvestas.

 

Weren't these the organization and the person at least partly

responsible for bans on ownership of exotic animals? Then, wasn't the

WAO the primary place that was used as the refuge of last resort for

animals displaced by the bans?

 

The move to ban ownership of exotic animals has included one really

bad habit. When the bans pass, animals die because all of the

approved sanctuaries are full. The animal rights movement has almost

entirely failed to take responsibility for the rights and the lives of

the animals that it displaces. If animals are considered to have

basic rights, they should all have the right to live out their lives

in humane homes and to reproduce, at least in a manner that maintains

their numbers.

 

I have a lot of questions about the animal rights movements, and they

are not adequately answered by the websites and they are definitely

not adequately answered by the actions of animal rights activists. To

me it looks like there is a huge drive to eliminate the lives of

animals that are owned by humans.
