It's bad enough this incident involving some monster feeding a live,

oiled-up puppy to a snake actually happened in AZ, but adding insult

to injury, a columnist for the Phoenix New Times who calls

himself " The Bird " actually made a big joke out of the whole thing

here, belittling the pain and suffering the pup went through:

I urge all of you to read this outrageous commentary and write in to

protest to the editor. This same sick writer, Stephen Lemons, is the

sadist who admitted to eating a cooked dog himself when he was the

food critic of this weekly rag, in this story about a chef who

prepares illegal, exotic feasts for the rich:

This article is totally gruesome and barbaric. This monster has no compassion at all for any animals! He is a danger to this society!
