Guest guest
Hey everyone, Does anyone feel confident that either Angelides or Westly is significantly better (esp on animal, envi, and anti-war issues) than the other or is significantly more likely to beat Arnold? The Guardian endorses Angelides, but I keep seeing Westly’s attacks on him for paving over wetlands and other poor environmental things he did as a developer. Thanks! Guest guest
A neutral site is: http://www.votethecoast.org/ in which environmentalists answer all of Westly's adds, and conclude we should vote for Angelides. Guest guest
I'm glad this race is being raised on this list. After all, it's all connected. It should also be noted that Westly spent more than $30 MILLION of his own money on TV ads...in a primary! Angelides' response is here: http://www.angelides.com/enviros/ Notably, Barbara Boxer says Angelides would be the "greenest governor" in CA history, and his campaign has been endorsed by the California League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club, among others. Those groups address Westly's claims (describing them as "false" and "misleading") in a letter supporting Angelides here: http://www.angelides.com/enviros/Joint-Environmental-Letter.PDF Thea _._,___
