Hi, everyone! My friend Niki, who's a cook at Chez Panisse, puts on

supper club events periodically. The dinners feature locally grown

organic produce from Tip Top Farm. This month, she's doing a vegetarian

event (vegan is possible -- just specify when you contact her). Here

are the event details.

Tip Top Supper Club

Sunday July 30th

A Middle Eastern Inspired Vegetarian Dinner

$75 per person

 

hibiscus ice tea

 

new garlic and olives with flatbread

pickled lemons

cucumber and red onion salad with mint

 

spicy eggplant, zucchini and Egyptian spinach

steamed squash blossoms with basil yogurt

farm eggs with feta and cumin

farro tabbouleh with grilled okra and tomatoes

Soul Food Farm is tucked into the rolling hills of Vacaville, Ca - just

about an hour's drive from the East Bay! The supper club is a dinner

that takes place once a month inside the farm's charming open

kitchen/dining room. We feature seasonal menus with local, organic produce

from Tip Top Farm (which is just down the road). The club accepts

Reservations for a maximum of six couples per event. We serve a three

course menu with wine pairings (2 glasses of wine per guest) and coffee with

dessert. Cash only!

 

About the Chef: Niki Ford is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy

and a recipient of their Danielle Carlisle Walker Award for Culinary

Achievement. She is also a cook for the Chez Panisse Cafe.
