Guest guest
Bay Area Vegetarians' Compassionate Living program examines and presents information related to vegetarianism and living a compassionate lifestyle. This month's presentation will focus on effective communication strategies and styles useful for everyday situations at work, at home, as well as public outreach. Our guest speaker is Nora Kramer, an experienced and passionate advocate for animals. She volunteers with the Empathy Project and does humane education presentations at local schools and runs the BAARN list, Bay Area Animal Rights Network. Learn how she uses her voice to speak for the animals, and how you can, too! Click here to learn more about Nora. Whether you can make it to the event or not, please check out these FAQ sites. One | Two | Three Either way, being well informed and taking time to think through some common questions can help make us better advocates for animals and vegetarianism/veganism. (Remember: even if you don’t consider yourself an activist, like it or not, in the eyes of every carnivore who knows you and asks you dumb (or not so dumb) questions about veg’ism, you are a veg spokeperson.) So check out the FAQs! Looking forward to working with folks to help us all become more confident, articulate advocates for this important cause Cheers,Tammy Bay Area Vegetarians P.O.
