hey veggies and animal activistsI am the primary editor for Indybay's Animal Liberation page (http://www.indybay.org/animalliberation/). I also cover a fair amount of goings-on in the Bay Area regarding Animal Rights and other causes.Unfortunately, I was out of town this past weekend and missed the local events commemorating World Farm Animals Day and World Vegetarian

Day, both in SF and San Mateo, and no one else appears to have posted to Indybay on them, so I have no material with which to feature these events in the center column on Indybay's Animal Lib page. You can help me get a story up there to highlight these great events. If you attended any of these events this weekend and would like to write a little description, or a big one, you can publish that yourself at Indybay by going to http://www.indybay.org/publish.php?page_id=58 and filling out the simple form. Even better, you can publish photos, video, and audio the same way. I can then take your postings as the seeds I need to put together animal-related center column features. If you attend any animal-related events, from large vegetarian gatherings to demos to benefits to tours of area sanctuaries to open rescues to speaking appearances by prominent activists, please post your take on it to Indybay. At Indybay everyone is a reader and a

reporter, so don't be shy -- no experience required. It's really easier than you think, on the same level as sending an email with pics. Ask me for any assistance should you ever need it.Indybay also has a popular open-publishing calendar you can use to list events you or your group may be planning for the future. Go to http://www.indybay.org/calendar/?page_id=12 and click "add an event" to add yours.Know that Indybay's features get a lot of mileage on the web. First, Indybay as a whole serves well over 100,000 pageviews every day. Also, Indybay's features get syndicated across dozens of other websites domestically and internationally. Additionally, Indybay does remarkably well on Google, both the regular search and the news search (anything covered on Indybay generally appears on the first search page). So, if you decide to use Indybay to get the word out about events you attend or are organizing, know that you

will be spreading the word far and wide of your efforts in support of the animals. Lastly, Indybay maintains every post ever made to the site, so it is a great historical archive of Bay Area activism.Let's get the word out on the incredible activism, big and small, going on all over Northern California!thanx, for all you dopeace,davidhttp://www.indybay.org/animalliberation/photo archive:http://www.indybay.org/gallery/?page_id=58 & include_posts=1 & include_attachments=1 & media_type_grouping_id=2 audio archive:http://www.indybay.org/search/?page_id=58 & include_posts=1 & include_attachments=1 & media_type_grouping_id=3video archive:http://www.indybay.org/search/index.php?news_item_status_restrictionfiltered=690690 & media_type_grouping_id=4 & topic_id=58 & region_id=0~
